GOD's protection on Samuel (Again!!).

Been busy lately and only managed to find some little time to update my blog.

Few weeks ago, Samuel had a minor accident. It was Sunday (04/10) and Samuel wanted to get his plate ready for his dinner. The plate was organised in the closet which also about his eye level. The glass plate was stucked with other plates and not knowingly he pulled the plate out very harshly. Then accident happened; I guess the plate was hit to the side and broke into pieces. Due to the force he used to pulled out that already a broken piece of plate, he cut himself.

There's a cut on his nose and also on his chest. The wound started to bleed badly. Me and hubby quickly pressed the wound with tissue and cotton so that it will stop bleeding. Right after the bleeding stops, I rushed him to the hospital emergency wad. Dr said it's only a minor cut, very superficial cut so no need to stich the wound. Dr just cleaned the wound and "glue" it with some chemical stuff. Went back to review after 5 days and he is fine now.

But the most amazing thing I need to express is that, I am surely feel blessed and see how amazingly GOD had protected Samuel. By looking at the picture, Samuel's spec was cracked due to that inccident. If he didn't wore his spec, i think he might lost his sight. Really PRAISE GOD!!

Now he got a small scar on his nose, but comparing with the eye.... yea...there's nothing more important. Thank you LORD...surely He is the only God who can protect my precious ones.

Genting Highland Trip 2009

We had a great family trip during the school holiday. One night stay in First World Hotel and enjoy the indoor park and site viewing. Even with the H1N1 spreading fast but still taking the risk to go. Well, just follow the MOH instruction guess should be ok. For me, life still depends on God and still have to go on.

Surprisingly that day, Genting not really crowded. I guess may be school just started and also people are scare of H1N1.

Samson's 1st Dentist Visit.

Today Samson had his 1st dentist visit and it's because his 1st new tooth grow right behind his milk teeth. So, had to visit the dentist and pull out the milk teeth; other wise daddy said the new teeth may not be in proper lining when it's fully grown.

Samson was very brave. When the Dr put the Jab in his gum he did not cry at all. He told me that it's painful actually but somehow he did not burst out his tears. He's brave. Really proud of him.

After we left the clinic, I promised to get him an ice cream; so we when to the convenience store and get one. But the Dr said can only eat the ice cream after an hour. So, he had to bring home and fridge it in the freezer and enjoy it later.

Home Made Ice Cream....(yummmmmmy..)

Last week just bought a recipe book from Popular bookstore. It's about making ice cream without the ice cream machine.

So I bought the ingredient and start making the ice cream. 1st ice cream wanna try was chosen by Samuel and Samson; they both wanted the Cookies' n Cream Ice Cream. Making Cookies' n Cream Ice Cream is not easy but result was fantastic.
Than got some ingredient left over, decided to make Pandan Coconut Ice Cream and Butterscotch Ice Cream. My husband loves it so much!! The only thing we found that the ice cream was actually too sweet for us. So, next time I will cut down the castor sugar to half and that should be nicer... Anyone wanna make some order from me??? Hahaha... You are welcome to place your order.

Oh, my boys licked my mixing bowl and i snapped them in photo except Samuel insisted me to delete his "ugly" photo from my camera coz I caught him actually putting his whole face into the bowl and licked the left over...hehehe
They love my cooking so much....;)

A'Famosa 2009

We had a great time at A'Famosa, Melaka during the Agung's birthday public holiday which falled on Saturday. I have booked a family package for a night stay at A'Famosa Hotel Resort on Friday. (Foreseen must be a huge crowd on Sat, so decided to go on Friday)...

Boys enjoyed themselves so much. We went to the Animal World when we reached the place at about noon.

First place we went was the Chicken Farm, and then the animal park, the Bird Show, the Cow Boy Town Show and also the best thing and most enjoyable place is the Safari Tour where we need to go in by a truck. We can see lots of animal run freely and we were just sit inside the truck and enjoy the ride.

Look at all my boys, had to hold their breath while taking this photo. The nature smell is really really strong. My husband ran away coz he couldn't take it. hahaha....
Then about 4pm, we checked in the hotel and had our bath and snacks. Then about 7pm, we continue with our program at the Carnival. The boys had the bump bump car ride; it's their 1st time driving a "car" so they loved it so much. Later, Carnival started at about 8:30pm. Performers performed some shows and of course animals too like Tigers, Orang Hutan, Horses, Birds, Camels, Elephants and etc. I guess the most enjoyable part is that it is our 1st time to see an elephant wee wee and poo poo right in front of us. Elephant poo really as big as a coconut and later a clown actually came out with a bakul and changkul to collect the elephant poo. Finally the show ended with 10 min fire cracker and that's it for the day.

Oh, we drove to Melaka town to have our supper, Satay Celup...

Next morning, we went to Melaka town again and wanted to bring the boys to see the famous building at Melaka but ended up that morning rained when we reach that place. So, we went to eat Chicken Rice Ball which quite famous in Melaka while waiting for the rain to stop.

Yeap, true enough the rain stops and so we went back to that place again but it was too crowded and jamed too, so hubby decided to cancel the plan and way back to KL. We were a bit disappointed but we managed to see the big ships and the church from the car when we passed by that area.

Overall I only enjoy the Bird Show but I'm sure the boys are having lots of fun when they see so many animals which they've got no chance to see it in KL....

Funny......

Samuel
One day Samuel saw my very nice lace underwear hang outside. Then he ask me why my underwear got many lubang (holes) and I still wear it... He was with a concern look like wanna to tell me "Mummy, your panties already koyak (spoilt) better don't wear it anymore." Still wondering why I still wear it.. Me, pretend did not hear his question lah coz I really don't know how to answer his question. Maybe someday when I got my answer than I will tell him why... Hahaha...

Samson
That day I bought one pack of plastic bags (thin and long one) to make homemade ice-cream. Those ice-creams I use to made at home by filling up ribena, milo and asam and etc when I was very young. They are clean and cheap to consume. My boys love it so much and than Samson starting to ask me to make some more to sell it outside. So I ask him how much I should sell? 20Cents? Then he say no lah, sell at RM1 per stick. Wah!! So expensive leh!!. I told him no one will want to buy the ice-cream from him...Hahaha...

Mothers Day 2009!!

I had a wonderful mother's day this year. It's on Sunday, so usually Sunday we are in church and Pastor in the church had a prayer for all mothers in church. Wow!! We really have a lot of mothers in church and they are all great mothers!!

Gift from the boys? Yes! Of course.

Samuel gave a butterfly magnet and I love it very much.. It's a handcraft done in children church...

Samson gave a few presents including paper flower from kindy, paper beg from children church and a paper pouch filled with sweets.

Shawn too gave me sweets paper pouch but hehe it's empty inside. He only gave the pouch to me when he finished all the sweets. ;)

From Daddy, ehhhhhh....

Then at night, we had a family dinner with my Mum together with my sis and bro.. You know what we had, Chinese Tai Pai Tong(hawker center) at Puteri Mart, coz afraid of crowds.. hahahaha.. Some more Mum belanja. ;)

Oh! I got some small gift given by my sis for that special day! It's a very nice decorated cupcakes made by her and Jia Pei (church member). It's very nice, of course the cupcake too.

Samuel's Eye Sight..

Last night brought Samuel to visit eye specialist to have a check on this eye sight. He has been wearing his glasses for more than a year so it is time for him to do his eye check.

Well, result to bit a bit shocking coz his eye sight power increased from 100 to 250 on both eyes. Did ask Dr why it's increased so high or is it due to Samuel attaching the TV too long hour each day?? Dr said that it is not necessary ONLY TV contributing the number but also lack of outdoor activities which will able to help them to train their eye sights by looking at greens, different distance of views and etc...

Oh, my guilt comes again. When Dr ask me did Samuel having his daily activities outdoor? I just answered him that only swimming session...errr...once a week....;(

Really loh, where got time to go outdoor everyday. Even once a week also straggling coz too tired, too busy loh...etc.. Weekdays definitely can't coz by the time I reach home it's already 7pm or 8pm. Unless daddy in a good mood to bring them out if so happen he's home early, other wise their routine would be at home all day long.

So, I told Samuel to go out to the balcony and see trees and birds out side everyday. Well, he just look at me and smile..

Quick Updates

Umm.. about few months been missing and some quick updates needs to catch up from now. Where should I start ah?? Oh, ya right after the CNY..

Well, been very very busy right after the CNY. 1st thing was preparing my 2nd boy birthday which falls on 4th of Feb. Decided to held his party at his kinddy and of course when you held it in school, you need to prepare party bags.. Wow!! A lot, about 66 of them. I bought a nice cake for him to blow in school and hoping that he got a unforgettable birthday party ever for his last year in kinddy. Next year he will be stepping into primary school leh...

After that, busy with projects in my work place. Tons of meetings and discussions. Than in March busy preparing Samuel 1st term exam in school. Samuel is now in standard three and really headache when comes to his school works and studies. Pressure! Pressure!! Result... not as good as previous years, like he is getting behind liao. I really worried for him.

This month is Samuel's birthday. Still wondering how to celebrate his birthday.

I am also busy on picking up all my interest like cooking ;) I tried out some recipes which I intended to try it long long time ago. I also tried out the bread machine last week which I borrow from my friend. It's really amazing that how the machine operate the whole process from kneading the dough till baking a bread. The result really fantastic. I notice the texture are not as light as High-5 in the market but still we think it is much tastier than the bread out there. More over it is healthier, no preserve thingy added in it. My husband also likes it a lot, one bread they (hubby and 3 kids) can clear up in max 2 days, fastest record ever 1 night..haha!! Hope they won't get bore if I bake the same white bread each time, so intend to try out some other recipe like adding raisins, sun flower seed and etc..

Feel really happy and bless to see my family eat well and sleep well!! ;)

CNY 2009!!

CNY is around the corner; don't really feel like do anything on this festive. From changing new notes till buying new clothes, well just don't have the urge to celebrate it at all.

Kids definitely excited about it but not me and my husband. Every year this is the season where we spend a lot and travel a lot. I and husband decided that this year we will just go back Ipoh and back to KL on the 3rd day of CNY if possible. We find that always CNY whole week is really a none productive week plus eating excessively none stop which really a torture to our body.

I personally don't really enjoy staying in Ipoh for so many days coz for me during CNY, that place really hot, food not nice, only 2 shopping complex there and the In Law family doesn't seems close to me at all. They give me kind of feeling that we are only a close relative staying there for a short period and I don't feel like at "Home" kind of feeling. Sometime too humble makes you feel like a guest instead of feeling you are part of the family. Hope I am too sensitive loh...

Well, this year is a moody year but still have to say....

Have a blessed Chinese New Year to all !!!!

New Family Member - Maid From Indon

My maid just arrives on Sunday and mum in law start teaching her all the things she does daily.

Frankly speaking, I am not a type of feeling comfortable with a stranger staying with me under the same roof. But due to some reason that my parent in law demanded to go back Ipoh so I have no choice but to hire a maid. On the moment I have agreed to my husband that we need a maid after the parent went back kampung, I started to put positive thinking in my head every time I think about it but still there are some friends fed me the negative thoughts.

I straggle and pray for GOD's preference on this issue I placed into His almighty hand. I ask God to close the door if this is not His plan for me like rejecting my application and etc.. But yet it goes through even there's some hiccups here and there. We didn't apply this maid through agency but rather from her father in law whom had staying in Malaysia for more than 10 years. Her husband working in Sepang at one of the factories there and she also had a daughter back in Indon.

Well, my 1st impression when I got to know her background is that "Will she pakat her husband and kidnap my precious?? Since she got the network or contact here?" I hint my worries to my husband but he explained that if the maid had such background, he think it's even better as the maid will appreciate to stay here with a valid permit and she also has her own family here and that she will not think of going back to Indon. My husband also think that some other Indon worker gone crazy because they work at the foreign country day and night, they don't have their own family to share their feelings. So he says it is even better that she has her own family here and agreed to give her one day off every 2 weeks to go back to her father in law house.

Now she already here for 2 days and she seems quite helpful to me. Samson and Shawn seem to like her coz they keep calling her Kakak, Kakak and wanted her to carry them.

I still feel uncomfortable and no choice but to pray hard that God is controlling everything in the house. After my PIL went back Ipoh, only left the maid and Shawn during the morning period, Samson will back from his school around 12:30pm and Samuel be back home about 2:30pm. After than, left only my 3 precious boys stay at home with the maid. My husband will try his best to do the spot checking but only be in the evening.

Me? Will try to rush home sharp lohhh.....or call back frequently loh.....

All my friends out there, please pray for me also ya... :(
